Tim Cisilino, President of SealTech Inc. has been personally profiled in Dow's industry publication, Materials News.

“It was an honor to be profiled, as it demonstrated the collaboration and partnership between Seal-Tech Inc. and Dow.
With Dow being the worlds largest chemical company in the world and world leader in silicone technology, Seal-Tech Inc. was determined to always be on the cutting edge of technology and application, while always wanting to provide customers with the best there is. Seal-Tech Inc. and Dow teamed up on the development, testing, and implementation of new materials that are considered to be the premium products on the market today. We have teamed up on many projects throughout the US. Seal-Tech Inc. continues to promote these products (among others) for customers today for one reason: because they are the best products that are in my customers best long-term interests. Period”.”

Dow Corning 123

Seal-Tech Inc. worked alongside of Dow to assist with the implementation of a new versatile product used for unique field applications.

Today 123, is still an amazing product that solves so many problems in the industry -and it, like all Dow silicones, can be counted on for long-term performance

All Guard ELASTOMERIC COATING

Dow utilized the services of STI in the development of this new and only first 100% silicone elastomeric coating.

This has turned out to be the premium elastomeric coating of all in the industry. It comes highly recommended by consultants nationally, especially for restoration projects, like most Dow silicones are in the industry.

CASE HISTORY - Kelsey Hayes Building

This building was the experimental building that proved successful for Dow and Seal-Tech Inc. on many levels.  It was the first building to use three newly developed products in the application. First, it was the first time 123 Silicone Seal was used. It was also the first building that All Guard (100% silicone elastomeric coating) would be used – and in combination with 123 for the first time. Additionally, 791 would be introduced on this building for the first time as well!  All together, this proved to be a historic building for Dow, as these three products have proven to be industry-leading products – still today. As a result, this building was used in many brochures and product advertisements. It was a privilege to team-up with Dow on this historical and successful project.

CASE HISTORY - Arboretum Office Park

This project was the first EIFS project that “STO” did in the USA.   This high-profile commercial office park consisted of over a million square feet of numerous EIFS buildings. Seal-Tech Inc. had to form its own EIFS expansion joint system (prior to the development of Dow 123 Silicone Seal). After all sealants were replaced, the entire project, including all EIFS buildings were coated with the new Dow  All Guard silicone elastomeric coating. This was a significant building for Dow to partner with, as it truly began the continued implementation of marketing the new coating to the industry that Seal-Tech inc. and Dow were working on for the industry.

CASE HISTORY-Bond Street Office Plaza

This project was a continuation of Seal-Tech Inc. and Dow working together to bring All Guard to the industry. We were working on building a track record of successful waterproof coating projects (especially focusing on EIFS buildings that were proving to need future repair products ASAP). Together, Dow and Seal-Tech Inc. were proving a successful system for waterproofing buildings (especially EIFS buildings). EIFS projects became a specific target for Seal-Tech Inc. and Dow’s All Guard.

CASE HISTORY-HERITAGE OFFICE PARK

AT&T

This project posed extreme temperature issues during January in Indianapolis. We knew the only sealants applicable at that time would have to be Dow's silicone sealants. This was a multiple-building project that would take months to do during the cold Midwest winter. These projects were successfully completed on time due to the ability to use the silicone sealants during the extremely cold inclement weather when the work had to be completed on time.

CASE HISTORY - ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

ST. JOHN’S

This was a unique project, as it was an Alden B. Dow / Frank Lloyd Wright design. Alden B. Dow was the son of the founder of Dow Chemical. For this reason, this project had historical value to Dow. While wanting to maintain the design and appearance, we had to repair the cross, and restore its structural integrity, while providing a long-term restoration. Seal-Tech Inc. collaborated with Dow on the preservation and restoration of this iconic church symbol. While Dow provided the silicone sealants and coating, Seal-Tech Inc. supplied the labor and equipment. While there were concerns and discussion as to the processes, procedures, and materials, the project turned out beautiful and better than we thought possible. So much so, that Seal-Tech Inc. went on to complete the rest of the church itself, along with the other buildings on the grounds. The teamwork on this project proved to be a great experience and it was another community-driven project to be proud of
